Artist: Ike & Tina Turner
Title: Delilah´s Power
Year: 1977
Format: LP
Label: United Artists
Genre: Soul, Funk
Catalog# 5C 062-98731
This album was released in 1977 when Ike and Tina were already seperated. Ike released the record with material they recorded before they split up. ( Two other Ike and Tina albums "Airwaves" (1978-United Artists) and The Edge (1980-Fantasy/EMI records) still followed later). "Delilah's Power" is a great album from start to finish. People who love "Nutbush City Limits" should definately check out this album. "Delilah's Power" is as good as Nutbush ( and is also written by Tina Turner). Other superb tracks are "Stormy weather","Nothing comes to you when you're asleep but a dream" and "Pick me up".
